Places from the Travel Notebook of a Dark Tourist (Utøya)

The documentary photo series captures a place of significant trauma in Norwegian society. Question "How has Norway changed after the Utøya attacks?" reveals some very disturbing answers. Unfortunately, this brutal act normalized Hatespeech, Islamophobia, etc. in public space in Norway. We ask ourselves: If I visit a site of trauma, does that mean the trauma is beginning to heal?
