Gústaf Jarl Viðarsson

Gústaf Jarl Viðarsson has worked in forestry since 2002. At first, he was employed as a forest worker at the Forest Service of Iceland until 2006 and later he worked independently for several NGOs and forest owners. He earned his B.Sc. in Forest Science, Restoration Ecology, and Management with an emphasis on Forest Science in 2010 and M.Sc. in Forest Science at the Agricultural University of Iceland in 2024. From 2012 to 2024, he worked for the Forestry Association of Reykjavík and, since 2024, he has been a forestry consultant for Land and Forest Iceland.
