An audio fiction piece presented in the form of field notes of a biologist researching ecosystem change after an environmental disaster on an unspecified island.

Ruta Putramentaite , born in Vilnius, Lithuania, and now based in Prague, is a transmedia artist working with sculpture, writing, audio, and performance. Exploring both the collective and the personal, she utilizes her body and voice, scientific findings, literary excerpts, and speculative/imaginary scenarios. Drawing from a feminist perspective of new materialism, she contemplates the essence of human existence in the 21st century, trapped amidst accelerated technoscience and the escalating climate crisis.

Jonáš Richter completed his graduate studies at the Sculpture Studio at UMPRUM, Prague, where he has stayed on as a post-graduate student. He focuses on language and limits in communication in connection with technologies. His artistic media include audio installations, photography, and moving images, exploring human voice in all its variety and contexts – in text, physical performance, and audio works. Additionally, he has a penchant for musical work, particularly over the past 15 years with his father in the project Richter & Son.
